Can someone please tell me why they have moved the 3 icons from the sidebar to the top left hand corner hidden? I did like it the old way, as it was handy, easy to see and you only need to click it once. Barmy!!

On a lot of phones that long sidebar list didn't fit on the screen. While it was just a smooth subconscious swipe to get to the bottom part on some (like with mine and thus I found the old way more comfortable and straightforward as well), on other devices it caused quite some painful scrolling and thus disrupting the gaming experience. So the UI is changing to be a better compromise between most devices.

Can it stay the same as it was on PC? There are big screens on PC
