End/start of season pit boxes.

Hey everyone,

I've just finished a championship winning season, thankfully, and imo I should have the number 1 pit box for the following season, but I have been randomly shuffled down the pit box order for seemingly no reason. This has been happening for a long while and I feel it's unfair on all the managers that work hard during the season, only to get a bad pit box for the next one. 

 If anyone didn't know, that's how the pit boxes are decided each season, by the order of the teams on 0 points at the beginning, but sometimes it randomly pushes 1 or 2 manages down and therefore some up. That's why we should get the corresponding pit box to where we finished the previous season and it would be great if this was fixed.

Totally agree the pit boxes should be down to championship positions of the previous season. 

Call me controversial,  but I'd argue the champion shouldn't have the first pitbox.  The last thing IGP needs is a feature that makes success easier for those who've already achieved it.

should be either championship order or completely random, a mix of both is unfair to everyone.

I get what you're saying Josh, but I feel if a manager does well enough to win their leagues respective championship regardless of the points gap, then they deserve to get the number 1 pit box for the next season rather than unfairly getting pushed down. 

Anyway there is a sort of inbuilt handicap to having that pit box on tracks where the pit lane is reversed, like Valencia, Singapore, Belgium and Germany where there is a very high chance that the no.1 pit box will lose loads of time compared to everyone else, which can easily ruin your race. But I still feel that the pit boxes should be decided on the previous championship order.

Just a little bump. It happened again this season, with 1st and 5th place in the previous championship getting pushed down to 13th and 14th for no reason that I can think of... Also has happened in 2 of my other leagues today and yesterday.

I'll sound like a Nascar fan, but why not hand out pit boxes according to qualifying results for each race? Seems fair and sensible. 

I really don't see how that would be better, first of all, what about tyre choice, you could go ss and get the first pit box? That would be way more complicated and unnecessary. Also with the way quali is now and how unpredictable it can be this would really not work imo. It would (I assume) be much simpler to go of off last season's results order.

Tommy i think the put box should be made with an average of your positions in racing, because one person that finishes always 11th is a season could be in a lower position than a person that finished most of its races at 12th or 13th

Please fix this as soon as possible as i have just won my first Elite championship and have not got a very good pit-box, this has already cost me this season and were only 3 races in.
