Updated Java but Live Control still wont open

Every time i try and load the Live Control on my laptop i keep getting the same problem. 'A problem with this webpage caused internet explorer to close and reopen tab' then i am left with a blank screen and this 'unable to return you to iGP Manager'

what can i do t fix this?

i have the updated java and live control and the 2d viewer dont work because the security settings dont allow java to run, how can i change the settings?
