I just wondered this as my Acceleration shows 200 yet my graph bar in research shows I'm still a little behind,
I understand I have help from my suppliers however when I tick the acceleration in my research box it lights up green does this still show room for improvement?
I thought this was blanked out red if not ?
If you can help this would be great as there are a lot of contradicting points as mentioned above.

As you said, you get help from your suppliers so, technically, you aren't maxed out yet. It gives you the possibility of research as you can always change suppliers and gain performance in other areas.

But if you spend points in Acc while it is already in 200 it will increase your development bar without adding any performance as the race simulator only handles 200 as maximum points, with or without suppliers.

Thanks
So "technically" I can still gain in research although I'm 200 ?
Sorry to be a pain ?

You can, but as I said, if you don't change suppliers those extra points are going to be lost for the following race for being over the 200 cap. No problem with that ?

It allows you to develop it further just in case you switch suppliers, but without any gain if you stick to the same ones.
