Currently we can save the points, my suggestion is that saving the points is not possible...

Just create an option of which area we want to develop in the next race

When we choose a development area, all the points that our headquarters produces will automatically revert to that attribute and the form of research remains the same ...

This prevents people from saving points and gaining an advantage later.

Many leagues prohibit this action for a better dispute, so why not make this an oficial change?

Maybe make it so you can only hold a max of like 40-50 points, so if someone can't be online for 24 hours in a row they have a chance to not lose ground on car development for when they come back.

Or maybe for the first few races you don't spend you get 100% of your points, then 90%, 80% etc... This way it wouldn't punish casuals who go inactive too much but savers will not get such a huge gain

the problem is not who stores points for better research the problem is why we do this. the decision to bring the development to 200 was not a great idea because this led to a decrease in the weight of each single point. a different system had been suggested by many managers .... halving the points obtained at the beginning of the season (for example 20 and not 40 in a 20-race championship) always leaving the maximum at 100 and always leaving the maximum limit. this would have given a lot of importance to every single point. but by now the decision has been made and it must be accepted so the strategy of not scoring is a strategy like any other, among other things not easy to exploit to the maximum.

Mine is not meant to be a criticism nor spread hate in the forum is just a very personal consideration.
 Peace and love

I don't agree. We will only developp one area of the car. IRL, you developp everything and not only one area

Not necessarily, it could be checkboxes like research with progress evenly split all checked areas or arrows to set it in 10% steps.

I don't mind the current system, but heard in some leagues it became a bit of a problem. So something like loosing 10% (exact value to be discussed) of the unspent points every race might be a compromise and shouldn't require bigger changes in the game.

I still kinda new and didn't know you could could save them up. Would have stocked up. But I agree with the idea of a limit of say 40 or 50. Sometimes life gets in the way and and you miss a day or two.

I kind of disagree.

If you don't spend at the start of the season, you will lose out to the other competitors a couple of races. Assuming the league is competitive, if you save too much, you might lose way too much points to recover at the end of the season and will still miss out on the championship win.

Yeah I don't really see it as a championship strategy if you save for more then 2 races. But it's a strategy that works if you want to avoid demotion.

I rewrite the thought because maybe there is a bug that deletes my messages. keeping 20/40 points does not make you lose much in terms of performance at the start of the race even in competitive leagues. bringing development to 200 was a big mistake (I'm not just saying that) because  has halved the value of every single point. it would have been better (as suggested by many experienced managers and not just me) to halve the reset at the beginning of the season. do this strategy anyway it is very dangerous and only a few (I don't) know how to make the most of it. starting from fewer points would have given much more importance to car development as points do not follow an increase in value linear but the value of each single point decreases in relation to the points it has.example .... if I have 20 in fuel I consume 3 liters per revolution if I take the fe to 30 I consume 2.8 liters per round but if from 30 I take it to 40 I will not consume 2.6 but 2.7 this is because the influence of each single point decreased with the increase of the characteristic (purely invented numbers).i don't know if i was able to explain with my english .

PS the suggestion remains to clear the cache not the posts thanks
