DRS and KERS

Do DRS and KERS affect your car all the time, or do they only work in the 2D Race Simulator?

P.S. I like to eat beef and broccoli with chopsticks. Chinese Grand Prix, here I come!

They are driver controlled all the time, but KERS can be manager controlled in 2D

DRS and KERS are not used in qualifying. If you don\'t use 2d your drivers will use them automatically during the race. If you do use 2d you can manually use KERS or leave it to the driver as Jake said.

Nobody is talking about what I want to know.

I wanted to do away with KERS & DRS to try-out a Brawn style car, Why do I still have them when I sold the Research Department?
Is there another way to remove them or are they there for life? Reset springs to mind and not buy them but that means losing drivers :(

Resetting your team won't remove DRS from your car(s). I already tried that on another user login. Don't know if that applies to KERS as well, but I think that it will behave in the same manner as DRS.

Would of thought reset would put the team back to the way it was at the beginning & not just back to Level 4.
Jack you got any plans to add a remove button on KERS & DRS?
I know what is going through your mind why would you want to remove them :D
But if a league wanted to spice things up and run a season with different rules each season it cant be done if they wanted to do a season with no KERS or a season with no DRS.
