Hi,

Just wondering which weather forcast I should be looking at before a race?

The race is at Singapore

On the Next Race info screen (when I\'ve clicked Practice) it says Mostly Cloudy: 28°C, Wind: N at 6 mph, Humidity: 84%but on the Home screen (with the countdown clock) it says Chances of Storm: 25 - 31°C and earlier it had a storm but the Practice forcast was unchanged.

So I\'m not entirely sure which tires to use for qualifing.

Yeah, the weather feature should be improved.

The info on the next race page is the \"Current weather\" whereas the home screen displays the forecast (for today and onwards)

The Weather is just stupid. Before todays race it was sunny. When the qual starts it was raining. On race it was raining. My driver didn\'t get wet tires on start. He gets soft and after 3 laps switched to intermediate...when other drivers have wet tires... More that half of the grid drivers was doing laps 5 seconds slower than the fastest. How to predict something like that, and how to setup a car for this eventuality. It\'s impossible...

You need to calm down and realize it\'s just a game...

Easy. I am calm. I know that predicting weather its part of my job. But why when it starts to rain just before the race they don\'t change tires to rain tires? In F1 races they can change tires on grid formation, just before race start. We should be able to do this after qualifying or should be automatic.

Well, no, not really. It is one thing to not have a decent wet setup, but another to start the race on slicks while it\'s pouring, just because you couldn\'t know that it will start raining in 5 minutes.
It is absolutely impossible to safely predict, how the weather will be in 30 minutes. You even see that in Formula 1, when the weather radar of a team is shown, saying that rain is expected in 5-10 minutes... and then nothing happens.
If it rains, the game should automatically put on the right tyres in qualifying, as in reality every time can decide to the second, when to go on the track and by that, which tyres to chose. No one would put on softs while it\'s raining just because he thought 10 minutes ago, that it would be dry.

Same counts for the race start. The rule that the tyres that have been used in the fastest qualifying lap have to be used at the race start, doesn\'t apply when it\'s raining. And every team is allowed to change the tyres until 5(?) minutes before the warm-up lap.
The same should do the game. Weather intel so far up front is pure luck and has nothing to do with knowledge or anything else.

I had big luck with my single wet race in the season... I shared this with two more teams. Every other team started on softs and switched to wets 1 lap into the race.

I agree with Dominik and Michal, weather is a real problem at present. I want the correct tyres at the start of the race. My team is at the race they will notice a wet track and rain drops on their heads before the race starts. 'Chance of storm' means absolutely nothing.

I also agree that they should change tyres before the race. Not everyone can do there quli just before the race starts and its really annoying when you do start on the wrong tyres its even more annoying as there is no way at all you can tell if you need full wet or inters.
