So how does it work?
I had a race last night. After that I did a forecast and heavy rain was expected for todays race. But, ever since yesterday it has only been cloudy so havent been able to do any practice runs. Will I have to just guess my settings since its 20 min til race now?

The weather is fetched in real-time from the track location in the real world. That's why the forecasts are just... forecasts! Like the ones on the news every night.

Yes, if there's a chance of rain just do your set ups 5-10 mins before lock down. Then you won't be stung by a late change to the weather which is based on real life. Like the previous guy said, when it sayes rain on a forecast it doesn't mean it's going to definetely going to rain. Don't always belive the weather man ha.
