So we’re on a relatively new league which hasn’t got too many people and some of them are long time inactive.

Then we get a few active players in the rookie tier who progress to the pro easily.

There in pro we have just enough people to promote to elite where every one is active.

The couple of rookies who are still active on pro get easy promotion spots and are excited to go that fast to elite and to where people actually play

about 3 races to the season end, auto kick function enters the game and expels a few players on our league, leaving the tally in pro below the required 9 teams

Now my fellow pros are stuck again in an empty tier and frustrated they leave the league

Is there any possibility to disable this auto kick functionality? I can’t find anything on the league’s setup page!

Hello,
The league auto-kick function is automatic and cannot be removed by a league host.

Auto-kick removes people after the following amounts of time:
• Rookie - 30 days
• Pro - 60 days
• Elite - 90 days

Hello Kali,

If inactive accounts were running the races that would mean a higher load for the servers. That’s why this isn’t an option. Hope you understand! 😊

yes and no. the races we are running are running regardless, so this isn’t an excuse. the races are run but the promotion is just not happening. that’s why i would like to see a way to manually allow somehow, maybe through disabling the auto kick or maybe through letting the league admin do something specific about individual teams (like resetting inactivity counters or something like that) just to keep the promotion

the server resources would make sense in a tier that has all teams inactive, otherwise is no reason

I solved the problem in the Italian way.I created a new car in the league with 16 inactive accounts after the first season I got 8 Pro accounts and 8 rookies when I am in trouble I enter them in the championship to activate The promotions and then I kick them to the new season by keeping them inactive.Of course it takes patience and imagination for the names.

Hello,

It isn’t an excuse, I’m trying to help you and explain you how things work! 😊 Each inactive manager is managed by the Artificial Intelligence, it nenas the simulators need to take decisions based on the conditions. It means a surcharge for the servers. Hope (now and definitely! 🥳) you trust me.

My advice is to promote your league on the forum, social media and ask your members to tell friends about the game. 📢

Sorry Jose I did not mean it personally or in any dismissive way, I trust (and understand) what you explain. I still think that allowing for manual intervention/override of the kicks would be a better option than what we have now, which is causing more inactive accounts and people like the Italian above solving the issue by means of creating a more heavy one.

Anyway, I think I will start having a look at the list of Minions' names for inspiration!

Pardon me... off the subject.....

There are far more inactive accounts floating around just to manipulate/override promotion and/or populate their league on the "seek-a-league" page thereby putting unnecessary stress on the server. You wanna lessen the load on the server one says....  Unless igp keeps a watchful eye on every, and I mean every league to monitor inactive accounts.....let the host do their thing.....host and manage their league's overall logistics. Yea, there are risks of miss management... but equally, there's great potential for prosperity. I've been hearing the same songs since I can remember regarding this and a few other issues....
