I've not bought f1 2013 because the physics although aparently much better will still be (i'm guesing) far too different from the physics on iracing for me to easily swap from one to the other throughout the week so  I just stick with iracing now and the addition of classic cars doesn't really make me want to buy it.
If they where to include a good quality manager mode I would be more than happy to buy their games on a yearly basis.

ideas:

1) Negotiate deals with staff with the key being to keep things simple otherwise it becomes annoying for many people (we have a good balance here on igp which makes it such a fun game because at no point does it seem mentaly draining or boring on the business side of things).Maybe have a manager rating system (ie. you have to have x amount of rating to hire this quality of staff)  to stop the game from being easy and making you work to progress the team forward) this should apply to all members of staff EXCEPT the driver.

2) At the beginnig of the season you should have maybe 4 or 5 drivers approaching you trying to get a contract. Every driver should have attributes such as race craft, outright speed, wet conditions, physicality, tyre conservation etc.    You then have to make a strategic call, lets say for example you have to choose between Button who has pretty high attributes all around with his downfall being he has no funding to bring to the team and Max Chilton who might have pretty low attributes but he would bring alot of funding to the team allowing you to devlop the car more and get better staff so you can progress faster.

3)The most important thing about all of this is that it should all be in 3D and give you a sense of something unlike all other manager games that are all 2D which in most cases makes the game very boring. You should be able to walk around in the paddock(maybe interviews) etc. When it comes to wathching practice, qualifying and the race you should be sat where the managers sit in real life, you should have screens that include info such as tyre wearandtype, engine and other part wear and peddal applications would be cool to see aswell. You should be able to view the drivers out on track in the same way you can in iracing when spectating(or like bspec in gt5) and comand them speed up slow down or maybe take it even futher and include commands such as cool the brakes, cool the engine, save fuel etc.

4)Another attribute a driver should have is 'experience' the higher this attribute is the better the information they give to the mechanics during practice after each session meaning they'll have a well setup car for qualifying and the race.

I know I've missed some areas which should be included but I could go on forever about this but I think you get the idea.  The only downfall to a game like this is that it may lower the number of people playing igp manager which would be no good. (I'd still remain a member on here ;) )

What does everyone think about this?

To be honest, the rate of Codemasters adds features. I think they'll be redoing the Game Engine this year and not adding any surplus features, mostly to do with the new Power Units. I don't see them adding anything here, or much else.
