"Auto" pit did not work

What did you try to do?
Pit as scheduled

What happened instead?
Came out of the last corner of the lap with less than 1L of fuel(so obv. less than 1lap also), game didn't pit me.
I was sure that I had also pressed the "pit now" button at the start of this lap

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
PC

What operating system is your PC?
Win10

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Chrome

Can the bug be reproduced?
I believe others have had this issue previously, yes.

I hope they can reproduce this and fix it. We had this occur to one of our Elite drivers in a race a week or two ago. Not sure if he spoke up, but I will for him here. Ruined his race.

To those having this problem repeatedly, if it happens again could you please, if possible, post a bug report within a week after the race (additional debug information of races gets automatically purged after a few days) with race ID and a description of what you did using the UI during the last one and a half lap before the pit stop should've been. It happening to certain people might be a coincidence but might point to a certain technical circumstance or a certain UI use triggering that bug.

That is now 5 days since this happened, if you're telling me that data is lost about a week after the race in question, are you able to provide an update please?

It happens if you have at least 0.8 laps of fuel left over because you can technically make it around again on pl1 even if you run out of fuel a couple of meters before the pit so the game assumes you want to do another lap.

The opening post says he had less than 1 litre of fuel remaining but the car didn't pit. Less than one litre isn't enough for 0.8 laps, not even at Monaco.

I had this happen today, thankfully I caught it before I went past the pit which nearly cost me the win. But I barely had enough to make it to the pit box without running out.

Same happened to me last race. Luckily it was in Monaco and able to complete the lap wit 0.7 laps of fuel. But lost 5s on that lap.

Sorry CJ.

The over the holiday period the support team were inundated with requests to fix calendars where people had messed up when attempting to skip races.

Anyway, long story short, I am informed because of the workload this particular problem got shuffled down the priority list and now the race data is no longer available.

All I can do is apologise profusely and leave this thread open so that if anyone else has the same problem they can post and next time we'll get on it faster.

My most sincere apologies. Support agents were extremely busy and weren’t able to find time to investigate this report. To avoid this, next time it happens I’ll investigate it myself, moderators know that I don’t sleep :P
