No Rookies joining league...

We used to have new Rookie accounts joining the league constantly and could easily kick the inactive accounts after 8 days and keep the numbers high enough to allow promotion places...

This has completely changed over the last 3 weeks. I don’t think we’ve had ANY new accounts join recently! I’m starting to worry that I will have to have to use ghost accounts to keep the numbers high enough, which for one of the most popular leagues in the game seems a bit counterproductive. Especially when you consider that most of the pro and elite managers are “home-grown” so we have a track record at keeping managers playing long term...

What’s happened? I know the league search has changed but it’s like our league doesn’t exist to new accounts anymore

now it's a problem that all leagues have.  since (after years of requests) they changed the filters, new accounts are MANDATORY to enter leagues which play at 7pm and every day.  to give it a try I created a new league at 7pm and it filled up in two days, while many historic leagues are dying.  What can you do?  Nothing.  what can developers do?  a lot .... maybe make sure the new managers go straight into the sampled filters screen and choose them for the best.

This isn’t a problem with our league as we race very close to 7pm time so i can back up this theory

So they are slow killing their own game by forcing new player to join inactive, weaker leagues rather than giving them the option to join active, established leagues?

The frustrating thing is that there aren’t many issues at all, but the really annoying issues that are always there should be easy to remedy. Obviously the league search was a major job and only just complete, so there was no way of fixing these problems until recently... I’m just concerned that new players are being lost and things are heading towards what Dome Nico writes about above

now I write it on the calendar.  but since there are holidays I leave you more time.  please notify as soon as you have solved the problem I don't want to do many tests .... thanks

yes and no .... if I understand correctly a new manager sees the championships that are run at the time when the right account is created? if so it is a small step in both the good and the bad sense. in the good sense there is more fairness in the choice, in the bad sense there is a risk of entering with the race in progress so a new manager understands little and gets tired of waiting 24 hours and could leave immediately. another small problem is that the filter button is hidden (at least I hardly see it from my phone) therefore hardly identified by those who are new. little curiosity is it difficult to get new managers to enter the filters page directly where to choose the championship options? maybe with a little tutorial? however the commitment is appreciated
