I know i have (10) engines to work with for the season, but where do i find how many:

Chassis
Sidepods
Front wing
Rear wing
Suspension
underbody
internals

The reason why i ask is because after my first race some of my parts have been worn down to 70% and i like to maybe change them out for the next race but i'm unsure of how many i have to work with.

Thanks for any help

you can change everything as much as you like, providing there is enough empolyees to cover the refitting.  When the box is checked on the carpart screen, have a look on the right to see how much it will cost and how many people are performing the task.

Clay,

This page shows your refit situation. When you check or clear the checkbox to replace your parts, the totals on the Projections table (far right) update. All you need to replace the parts is enough engineers and mechanics to do the work, and enough money to build the new parts. If any of the last three numbers on the bottom row of Projections are highlighted in red, it means you don't have enough of that resource to do the job you're attempting (not enough money, engineers, and/or mechanics).

After a while you should have the finances figured out and end up turning a profit almost every race, and you can replace everything except the engines at every race through the season.

Thanks.

So far good with finances sitting at $41M

I wouldn't say you're there yet, Clay. The early stages of the game have a lot of expenditures. For your first few scouting levels, it's best (if you want to be competitive) to hire a new driver every time you level up, because the ones available at the new level will be better than the ones you have. That wll cost you several million in signing bonuses and can put you in debt if you're not careful. I turned a profit on my first season, but I purposely sacrificed my first season just doing research into figuring out the game mechanics (how the game itself works). I would only replace parts if I thought they wouldn't make it through another race, and that saves quite a bit of money when you don't have much of it to go around.

After a while money stops being and issue and you can just throw it at things. I've got over a billion dollars and nothing to spend it on (though I will probably need a new driver in a few seasons, here).
