Removing Ballast

Could ballast be removed from the game, or maybe at least made that leagues could choose whether to have it or not?

The reasons for asking for this:

• Ballast is supposed to make racing closer but in reality it distances the racing.


• The beginners that are given the advantage over the more experienced who have ballast would eventually be promoted example from Rookie to Pro, only to find themselves too far behind and maybe even demoted back to Rookie.


• An example with myself, before I got ballast I had over 40 million, now since the ballast is stopping me from going up to Elite from Pro, i went down to 14 million and I am losing money every race.

If it cannot be removed from the game, maybe at least give leagues the option to choose whether to have it or not. This however should also work for existing leagues and not only upon creation of a league.

I really hope this is taken into consideration devs.

you are a very bad example, your pilot has a salary of 2.3M, so u losing 1.7M evry race. Because this is only your problem

And why should professionals whose pilot level is limited by their current level, have to lose the fight against pilots with full 20 stats?

The ballast should at least be made less punitive. I've benefited from having a max driver against other higher level teams with max Drivers. Sometimes beating them by over a minute in the race. Once I got to Elite I was still able to score points in the first 3 or 4 races, then nothing until maybe the last 3 or 4 races. The Pro League was Rep: 4800+ so they knew what they where doing.
I'm in favor of reducing the affects of ballast, but not necessarily doing away with it.
