Last stint put wets in in a dry race

What did you try to do?
Put mediums on but wets got put on last stint. Started soft changed to soft 2nd stint but last stint wets were put on

Wets went on

I get a reply saying wets were set up and softs changed live race. But I qualified on pole in softs so seems strange as it was a dry race

I believe it might have been a mistap on the wrong tyre duo to lag or he was just trying to look the next tyres/fuel and the app ghosted a touched from PL to the tyre selection. Small mistake and, unfortunately, a huge damage for him. But it happens from time to time when we are in a hurry and the app/internet can't keep up 🤷‍♂️

Sorry I never got a proper reply and still haven’t been told what happened.
I always keep an eye on the set up before races so lag shouldn’t come in to it.
But my answer was I started on wets and intended to do a one stop with wets my 2nd stint.
I qualified in pole in softs so couldn’t have started race in wets.

I’m not worried now as I won championship but it made it an edgy last 5 races having wine no points in that race

If you are online, your advanced strategy doesn’t work after qualifying...
So if you set up W-W, even though it was dry and your driver qualified/started on softs, your next pit stop will still follow the main W-W strategy and put they tyres on. I have had this issue the opposite way around where my crew put dry tyres on the car instead of inters as I assumed because it was still raining, they advanced setting telling them to put on inters didn’t matter and they went with the main strategy.
