Why am I bad in qualifying?

In every race I always have a bad qualifying no matter what track, and I always finish ahead of where I qualified, I've tried changing drivers and still have horrible qualifying even with lower fuel than everyone else it's still terrible, does anyone have any idea how to get better qualifying?

What tires do you use to start?

Well whenever I use supers I end up in the middle of the softs and when I use softs I usually end up in the middle of the mediums

Nope it's not that, even at the start of the season I'm horrible and even when I was winning every race in pro I still qualified terribly

What cd do you have? If you have one with poor strengths and weaknesses it can seriously hinder you. I had a similar problem for several seasons in pro and into elite. I was qualifying outside of the top 10 or even 15, on the same tyres. In pro I was still managing to win races, but in elite I was getting consistent top 10s, but I had the pace of the leaders. A change of approach on design strategy moved me up the grid rapidly. I still rarely get pole positions but I'm close enough 

When everyone uses the same tyres, you get pole Jack ??
