Hi all,

When you attend a live race, maximum speed often do not exceed 320km/h, yet when exporting the results of the race, max speed is listed at 350km/h. Where is the bug? Is it in the export or is the information shown during the race incorrect?

Curious to hear your thoughts as it could change how I look at acceleration, braking, downforce and handling...

Hope the speed indicator during the race is the correct one...

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Maybe it reaches 350km while boosting?

The evidences show that what we can see during the live race does not reflect the simulation. E.g. the speedometer will show values around 320~324km/h despite having DRS activated or not.

Having said that, I wouldn't recommend relying on the speed indicator to take notes of speed records. Use the race results "top speed" column, which is usually 350 km/h.

Ok, if we cannot trust the speedometer, than trying to figure out what the weight is for each car attribute (Acc, Bra, Dow, Fue, Han & Tyr) is not going to be easy.
But at least I know that the speedometer is not correct. :-)

I did a car attribute test once.

I've put 8 teams together in a private league, each two of them would assign design points in only one area. I took notes of their qualifying positions.

As I couldn't manage the races, sometimes the AI used to do nice comebacks.
