for the lap times 30 sec quicker it could be that iGP had to change the layuot for some tracks for legal reasons. australia could be one of them.

Same here, in Australia you drive like on drugs. The racespeed is much faster, the lap-times are crazy. We had a 46.2 sec as best in the race (last saison 1:18.1).

Jack Basford answered those issues in the bug mega thread. The creation of some tracks were outsourced, but as it turned out not done in the correct scale.

Jack
...
That said, a couple of them are also not to scale and I'd like to correct that (most notably Australia and Singapore). Changing that won't be a quick fix though, it will take time for the artists to change the scale of things. Don't worry, none of that time involves the developers who are all working on other areas.

Also some simulations ran with wrong parameters, which could magnify the scale induced issues if both comes together in one race (or set of practice laps).

It'll be corrected. The race simulation ones hopefully soon, but the wrong scale will take a while as the in-house design team has to rebuild the track to correct scale.

Outsourcing those time intensive tasks is neccessary to reduce the workload in those peak times when everything has to be (re)created at once, but unfortunately it backfired a bit in iGP Managers case for those tracks, but in general it seems to be not uncommon for those outsourced assets to end up referred to as 'not up to our (new) standard' and 'require a rework'.

Is the practice info (tyre wear, fuel), valid for now though? Don’t want to run out of fuel 3 laps early lol. Talking about Australia.
