What happened instead?
I could only see 1 car on the race viewer. Both cars were using the same spot on the track when I tried to toggle between them.

Additional comments:
The car never made it into pits, they swapped tires while driving on the race track.
It was confusing not knowing which car I was controling, especially when it came down the final lap.
