I was thinking that maybe instead of a one-shot quali, that it should be live 2 hours before the race, and for the people that can join can have a AS ( advance strategy ) to decide what tyre they should use and when to bring them in.

There should be an option for no, but I think one shot.

Either keep it as it is now or one-shot, but then that would disadvantage players who can't be around 10 mins pre-race

I came up with a post for this a while ago.
I think it would be cool for leagues to have the option to have a qualifying session, for however long the league chooses. The managers would have buttons like "send out" and "bring in" along with the fuel level, tyre choice and push level. For example, I probably want my drivers to go on the minimum push level on the in lap and maximum push level during their qualifying lap.
I would say to have the qualy 10 mins before the race, so it doesn't interrupt people's schedules.
