I think the devs should actually tell us when they change something in the game, I just raced in Silverstone only to find out that the pit time doubled, leading to only one manager being on the winning strategy having raced in there a few days earlier. Now, I don't have anything against those managers who have multiple accounts to race, but you should also dedicate some time to warn managers who can't race a million times a day. Please tell me if I'm wrong.

Yes they need to communicate change better. Just race in Abu Dhabi and is 5 laps less than previous season and track is now miniature with miniature cars. Other day they do an update to some tracks which cause issue to a lot of players and they gave no warning for that either.

Let me share a couple more threads here about the same subject:

You weren't the first and probably won't be the last one to get surprised by this, but still no answer whatsoever ?‍♂️

This change wasn't communicated clearly internally which is how this happened. I had to piece together what happened from fragments of memory and discussions we had with each other and with the beta testers.

The background to this situation was that immediately after 3D launch, Britain, Belgium and maybe others had pit entries that were too quick. It was faster to drive down the pit lane on the final lap than to take the final few turns, so it didn't take long for people to realise and start exploiting it. The simulator developer was notified of this, and I suspect because it was deemed an urgent matter, bundled it in with the next update so quickly they forgoet to tell us, so we didn't know to include it when the changelog was compiled.

Initially it came as a surprise to us that this was in the update as well. Mystery solved.

I've said this numerous times, talk to your players give update, tease us on new features but they don't listen

Good to hear it was someone trying to fix a real problem... they just forgot to share it with everyone else ?

Anyway, as we are still to see a re-scaling fixes in most, if not all tracks, this would be quite helpful to prevent overnight changes to affect a race result in the future ?
