Tyre wear

Hello. I'd like to know if tyres wear out more on straights than corners. I already know they heat up more on straights but don't know if that translates into wear. Thanks. 

I would imagine the lateral forces encountered during cornering would cause most of the tyre wear.  The tyre temperature should just increase or decrease the wear rate at corners.
Although, tyres being too cold could cause the tyres to degrade more quickly as well.

Basically.  For best effects, keep your tyres in the middle section of the temperature guage and you should be fine.

(I do speak here of the game engine mimicing real life...)
