We are investigating the issue with race.igpmanager.com being unreachable. Our suspicion is that work carried out today, without our knowledge or consent, by our external server management provider has created a problem.
Race postponements / Resets For anyone that missed their race during the downtime and wishes to re-run it, please get your league host to request a race reset. We will gladly postpone and reset any affected races.
We believe the issue is resolved now. It was, as we suspected, a mistake by one of the members of the server management team we outsource to. This is why we were not aware of it until now. It did not trigger any of our alert systems, and we may need to add additional checks to avoid this in future.
Can anyone confirm that they can access the viewers now?
My host is unlikely to reset race as he won. Not impressed!

I can't say we are either. This was out of our hands. It was a bit like a tyre exploding on an F1 car, except there it's easy to identify the fault with the tyre manufacturer. Unfortunately for iGP, it's not so easy to distinguish us from the work we outsource.
What we can improve is our response time by adding this scenario to our alert system in future so that this can't happen again. They had (by accident) shut down a service on the server without notifying us, and we were not alerted until we looked at the forum and saw the fallout from the situation.
We'll either need to change who we outsource to, or add checks and balances so that this scenario can be averted in future. They are going to be hearing it from me for a while, at least!
