Hello everyone!

I have a suggestion to improve this game and that is that you can cancel a bid on a driver. It can always happen that you per accident bid on a driver or that you found a better driver on the transfer market by driver then where you have bid on (more info about this in the examples section of this forum post). I am wanting that if this is going to approved, that if you cancel a bid on a driver that you can your token back so that you can save it for later.

Examples of what you can happen to you and what you can do if this idea is going to be approved:
A example: If you have per accident done a bid on a driver who you are not wanting, that you can cancel your bid and that you get your token back. A other example: You have found a good driver for your team where you have done a bid on, but then you are going to look at transfers by drivers and you see the perfect driver for your team. So you cancel the bid on the good driver you found and place a bid on the perfect driver.

I hope you found this a great forum post and hopefully are you finding this a great idea.

You can't mistakenly make a bid.

Proper management requires a bit of patience.
While I agree a bid cancelation should be added, a form of penalty should also apply.

N ö ö b mentions a penalty, which could be that you don't get your token (s) back for any cancelled bids.

However, I don't agree with this idea because it could mean that people will bid on random staff just to initiate an auction to get more money once it's sold.
If you buy a driver with 9 tokens, it can result in you getting less money back than you expected. Having a bid cancellation button could mean that people bid on their own drivers / staff just to stop other people buying them with 9 tokens, and then withdraw their bid at the end so they don't waste money.

If there is a cancel bid, then it should have a time limit, probably around 5 seconds or so.  Furthermore, cancellations should not be allowed in the last minute of the auction.

I don't know if it counts to the topic but why don't we get ask if we want to comfirm to set a bid? With this we cannot accidently place a bid.
(Sorry for the bad translation, English is not my motherlanguage. Hopefully you understand what i mean)

I agree, we get asked confirmation to buy someone for 9 token, or extend someone's contract, sell someone, even sign a sponsor so why not to place a normal bid?

Probably because that would be a hurdle for spending only one token. And a big hurdle in bidding wars (where igp takes a lot of tokens in a small timeframe). So I think may be bad for igp business (which is why I think this suggestion might get rejected)

Ok, but if this suggestion is bad and it is going to be rejected, then had iGP Manager already closed this forum and said that this idea is rejected.
