A lot of weird bugs this season....ya noticed u weren't in the race....add that to the no sponsor money for me at brazil...jeffs no drivers in academy...and no stats on drivers...and don't even remember the otheers this season...bad season for ugs....but nice championship win nevertheless
Would you believe every single one of those was caused because one line in one file did not contain a flag "didRace"? Things get crazy handling hundreds of millions of rows of data (that's how much we have now), even the tiniest glitch can throw off a massive butterfly effect. Manually repairing all of that data and undoing the glitches is no fun either, but we got there in the end.
I've sent Gustavo some compensation for his recent experience and handled the matter in PM. He was probably the person most inconvenienced by the recent glitches, as evidenced by this thread.
These things happened because we are making big improvements to the back-end of the service, which sometimes throws up some hiccups. I hope you can appreciate the efforts we are making to improve the service as a whole and see past the incidents this week. Thank you for supporting iGP.
