Is the announcement of the Melbourne track being fixed in iGP to the correct distance a bit amusing now that they are taking away the back chicane and making the actual track a little bit shorter? or has it been updated to not include the chicane? 

I dare say if approved to have 4 DRS zones, that will still be 3 (or 2) more than iGP has :p 

(put all the damn DRS zones in already Jack lol)

They might've removed the chicane to avoid legal issues. That's been the case on other tracks in recent history. Melbourne is also undergoing a slight redesign for this season in the real world, so the changes may be to reflect that.
