Bullied by the game

It not nice the game has singled us out suddenly and taken a person attact to our league, changed the rules to bully our league off the leaderbord. There many league in the game with handicap and tire rules, we were rightly so 2nd on the leaderbord with an growing socal media prescent.

Were are an active players that all regular put money into the game over the course of many years. Think an appogly would be in order as know you have bullied and singled us out. Even with the handicap we meet all the creteria, we are an unique league that very active. Uniqueness should be prayed not not attacked, expected more from IGP. We all felt IGP had personally attacked the league.

Bullied is an strong word, but yes we have been singled out. We been in the leadbord for time and our uniques has been singled out even though the league meets the creteria and is very close. 

You do realise there is no official league ranking and that was just made by another player just like you? You've been told this numerous times but it seems it never sinks in.

Just play the game and have fun, your league isn’t the second best league in the game as there is no best league etc. No need to get worked up over nothing.

The devs/iGP owe you nothing because it has nothing to do with them.

If this is not controlled but the game this leaderboard should be removed as it causes too much arguments and should be gonvered by IGP. I get why they're frustrated as they have been bullied by the player, as he changed the rules to single them out, that is bulliing. Bulling is bulling and need to stop.

Yes, Bullying is Bullying, But, if you’re making rules specifically to make your league really competitive, it is manipulating the leaderboard. If I said “everyone who got points in the last race has to pit every lap” that would not be fair and make it seem like I had the most competitive league in the game when in reality I was manipulating it to look like that. I 100% agree with the leaderboard not allowing rules that manipulate the leaderboard, it makes it accurate and not manipulative.

That 'leaderboard' as you call it is not a ranking of league strength, but a ranking of league competitiveness. If a league has specific rules aimed at artificially increasing competitiveness, in my book it is only fair to the other leagues to exclude that league, as the rules would mean that metrics used would not provide a fair reflection of the actual competitiveness of the league. Also as said 'leaderboard' is both unofficial, and to do with competitiveness rather than strength, I don't really understand why being on it or not is a big issue.

Lol beats anyone ?‍♂️. Maybe he genuinely thought he officially had the second best league in the game ?. It's not the first time he's been told otherwise though, so idk ?‍♂️.

It hurts me a lot to read allegations of bullying. It is a theme that is very close to my heart. When this word is abused it shifts attention away from the main theme, and it is a detriment to true victims of bullying.

I make a premise: I am personally responsible for the League Ranking.

I have not made any personal attacks on any league. I added a rule and consequently I eliminated three leagues from the ranking because their internal rules (with handicaps for the best managers) were in contrast with my method of identifying the most competitive leagues.

I don't know if you did it on purpose to gain advantage on the League Ranking, or if you think slowing down the best managers is really a good rule, but honestly that doesn't matter. You can of course keep that rule active if you all agree, but obviously you cannot participate in the League Ranking if you have a rule that artificially increases your level of competitiveness.

I'm sorry I didn't think of that rule before, but as soon as I became aware of this potential exploit, I had to make a change out of respect for all other leagues that allow free competition.

The law is not pure science, to become a good law it must continually have additions so that no one is allowed to exploit the law to take unfair advantages over others.

I think you do a great job Gian, considering you don’t need to do it. I didn’t realise the leaderboard had been amended tbh.

It is not an official statistic, and is created voluntarily by a highly regarded player in the game.

Gian has put lot of own personal time to create this and should in no way have defamatory comments made towards him.

Thanks for making the rule change, Also, I think the league I am in should be in the leaderboard, but not sure.

I agree with the majority here and Gian, in that 2 tyre leagues do, on average, tend to have closer race results, than leagues that do not have this rule in place.

I am though curious why there is a 20 laps Hard tyre start for non set ups in Elite in the league though Nathaniel. Does it take into account the possibility that someone may have had to miss the race to attend to an emergency hospital appointment for themselves or a relative? It seems like a double penalty, when already in truly competitive leagues, a non set up is guaranteed 0 pts.

The league rankings, whilst I commend the effort that has gone in, as others have pointed out, are flawed, with only the competitiveness measured and not the strength of the league.

For example, a very similar group of F3 racers may produce very similar race results all season, leading to close final standings, and indeed qualifying for the competitive criteria. But if the top F3 racer were to race in a true top tier league, they would only finish around 8th each race.

As such, as the league rankings do not measure the league strength, but give off the impression as such with a numbered tiered list, it will only cause grievances with managers and hosts, who are not on the list.

Whether such a list and measure, that can cause grievances and allegations of bullying, especially with managers and hosts who are on the autistic spectrum or similar, should be pinned up on the league board is another debate.

I personally believe it an unfair attack on the IGP elite club, the game developers should take control of the leaderboard or consider taking it down. I personally believe IGP elite club has been bullied out of the leaderbord.  

You said you against bullying, but you have singled handled bullied an entire league and community. You are a bully and the game needs to take this non-official leaderboard down or take over it. 

You are a bully, You changed a rule to a single and unique league, uniqueness is good. Your rules singled out an entire league. IGP please remove this dictator, or governed the Leaderboard yourself. This unofficial leaderboard causes so many issues with Gian that like to singled handly bullied a league for an ego boost. 

There not a non-set-up penalty, the penalty if you don't follow the handicap system. Anyway, with my disabilities and Autism, I now realize it a non-official leaderboard. Gian continues what you're doing but IGP really should take over or remove the leaderbord.
