Now that things have settled down (awesome work btw ?)
Can we look at making the structure of league’s customisable?
In most leagues, 32 managers in each tier is too much. This creates a group of ‘forgotten managers’ who languish around 12th to 25th in the elite championship, only playing for the one race they get an 11th place finish to stay in the top tier. Only inactive managers end up in Pro which then creates a void for new managers coming up from Rookie, who often find themselves in Pro leagues without the minimum number of managers to activate promotion, and are sometimes lost to the game.
I can understand if hosts can’t have FULL control over their leagues as it would be a major operation to make it work over all leagues, but even the option to have, for example 32 managers per tier with 4 promotion/relegation spots, 24 managers per tier with 3 promotion/relegation spots or 16 managers per tier with 2 promotion/relegation spots.
This would give the ‘forgotten managers’ something to really play for, boost the PRO leagues while hopefully eliminating the ‘one-race-wonder’ element…
It should also bulk up the less populated leagues too making it a win, win, win situation!
Then we can look at being able to customise the points system and also making a rule where only level 17-18 and above managers can create new league unless given permission from admin (like for an Interliga type situation where an experience manager is ultimately in control)
