Title says it all.. How much RAM is good for iGP to have good performance? Type your answers below.

Curious? I use a Galaxy A32 5G with the 4GB LPDDR4X option.

18GB is also rare for phones - only three have that.

24GB can be achieved on the newly announced ROG Phone 5s Pro with virtual RAM software.

Depends on what phone you use. I use the iPhone SE 2nd gen which has 3 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and the app runs smooth as heck

Hello,
On the most recent changelog, Jack mentioned stronger filters on the Google Play Store for low-RAM devices.
"Phones with 1GB RAM or less and tablets with 2GB RAM or less will no longer be able to install iGP Manager through Google Play."
Given this, I would assume that the minimum RAM needed is 2GB for phones and 3GB for tablets.

I think it’s very device dependent as opposed to RAM size.

My Samsung Galaxy Note 9 with 8GB RAM no longer opens the race viewer or livery editor.
My ROG 5 runs well but it runs even better on my iPad Mini 5 with only 3GB RAM.

18 GB is more than welcome in any case 😉

Igp baked my poor old phone (snapdragon 808 / 3GB RAM).
I'm only on 2D viewer, can't use the 3D viewer.

Yes! My phone has 4GB of RAM and sometimes struggles, even with 2D!
Considering my phone's specs, I would say something like 6/8GB RAM, Adreno 630+ and a Snapdragon 800+ 2.42GHz for smooth racing in 3D.
Note: read "+" as better, not the version of the GPU/CPU

They might be using phones that can manage RAM very well (including me who uses an iPhone SE 2020)

Well, my phone (Samsung A50) has also 4GB RAM but runs 3D perfect with only minor lags sometimes, but pls don't ask me what the specs are, I have no clue, but probably something like you named

Empty your cache maybe? It could help, and scan your phone for any background apps, that increases your performance significantly

You can’t really compare all phones in one list.  iPhones tend to have less RAM, but are much more effective than equivalent RAM on most Android phones.  My SE (2GB) runs both 2d and 3d very smoothly and I have no performance issues.  My iPad (4GB) is even better.
