For the last two weeks I have suddenly experienced major lag which makes a lot of races nigh unplayable. I don't know if this coincides with the latest update, but it's getting to the point where nothing I can do changes things.
I use Firefox as I always have and view the race in 2D, and I have a very decent laptop (which never had problems before). Before this started it had been absolutely fine and running smooth. But now the race lags in many different ways; it will usually slow down then return to normal speed every 5 seconds. Every time a team uses KERS I lag (which means I cannot react to them), and in general it takes my own KERS about half a second to register (again, meaning I cannot react in time to others), and I have also had a few instances where I press the KERS button and nothing happens, at all. All this means I lose a lot of time to competitors due to multiple missed DRS, and it's getting a little frustrating.
Has anyone else had this issue of late? Found any ways to ease the issue? Any general advice?
By the way, I do not have this problem in the 3D viewer. 3D runs fine. But I don't use 3D for racing as I much prefer the general overview of 2D.
