How to OP?

I can't figure out what is required to be faster. I keep my driver and staff at the max level for my lvl, but people at a lower level with worse stats still beat me. What am I missing? Running soft tires, set up the car every race, is there another step I'm missing? Thanks!

Tyre temperature? Are your tyres overheating or undercooled in live race?

Using the KERS during pit hours of rivals as proportionately effective as possible

In your last race you did 3 stints on medium tyres whereas your opponents mainly did 2 medium or 3 soft. Check the tyre charts from the race to see if you were getting the most out of them. Is your driver 100% fit when the race starts?

When I let the computer control, the tires are always running cool, and I seem to finish 8th. When I'm online the entire time, I run them up to hot then back away to let them cool. 

I started running medium tires because I saw someone in chat say they run mediums, and thought I'd give it a go too, without much luck. My driver is sometimes 100% but usually 80% I believe.

I'm probably not effective with my use of KERS.

I also saw some people have team members with the same nationality so I picked up some lower level but same nationality team members, which I think actually made my team worse. 

I think, by default, new players are given staff matching their own nationality, but to my knowledge it doesn't make a difference 

It sounds like you need to manage the tyre temp to keep it in the optimal range

KERS should be used strategically, mainly to keep within 1s at the DRS zone so you get that boost. Watch what your rivals do and learn from them

When it comes to staff, try to find highest star rating, nationality doesn’t do anything
