Hi Miya,

It is never too old for any karting or formula racing ?

However, if you want to reach or get close to the pinnacle of formula motorsports, it would be advantageous to start as early as possible.

Age 3 - 13, will be predominantly karting, stepping up to F4 from 14 yrs+ onwards.

F3 categories are normally 16 - 23 yrs old (with a small number of 25 yrs+ racers), with FIA Formula 3 and Formula 2 (the very expensive tiers) having racers anywhere from 16 - 26 yrs.

But the older you are, the smaller the chances of getting into F4 and stuff like that. And you have to spend a very big amount of time and money into that? But if you want to start a career, go ahead! No one should stop you from doing what you like

I think that I will try to drive more, with 27 its for sure to late to get on the same level as F4/F1 driver, but maybe I can participate in some tournaments of cards, that would be awesome too.

Yeah, it really is too late now, but karting for sure makes fun and you can still say you are a racing driver in some sort? And let's just take Latifi as an example, he was 13 as he started karting and made his race debut with 25. If you should progress like that, you would be almost 40 at your F1 debut, and for sure not many people still can drive as good as Kimi and Alonso at that age...

That for sure ^^, I would need a lot of talent and time and work, so it's never be easy. But I like to use the time I have to make the best of karting.

Can you keep us updated about how it goes when you start? I'd like to know how good the iGP players are at irl racing?

Hehe thank you so much everyone !
Going to sign for karting and the track is not that far from my place.
But yeah money is everything, redbull pushed Willams team to sign a contract with Thai guy instead of much more talented Russian driver Kryad. Money over talent.

Yeah, money is important. But if your talent is good enough of getting sponsors, you can have it easy too.

I save up money now and practice each month to see how far I can come and if not good enough for racing myself, then I will try to get my own karting track to manage and maybe support other drivers. I will see how many mountains the life will throw in my way. I wish you best luck with your try in karting, hopefully you can archive something or at least try. Maybe you update us sometimes ^^.

I'd also love to go karting as soon as possible, but the nearest track is like 90 minutes away or something? so, for now I stick to you having fun and I just read how it goes ?
