The Australia and Abu Dhabi circuits have been upgraded. Just wondering if the devs are considering implementing these changes as it changes the tracks in general not just for F1. No rush, I just would like to know

Hello,

When 3D was released, the developers had to change the track layouts away from the real-life layouts in order to avoid copyright infringement. For this reason, I don't think they will be editing Australia and Abu Dhabi to reflect the changes.

Additionally, changing track layouts in iGP is a lot easier said than done. The layout has to be redrawn, the racing lines adjusted (both in 2D and 3D), and then the 3D viewer's environment for each track would also need adjusting too. These changes take a long time to programme, test and then release - in my opinion, the updates mentioned in Jack's blog, are more crucial than changing entire tracks for the sake of a few corners, and when the tracks have to be different to real life anyway.

Yeah, I understand this, and I think the new changes are going to impress 3D massively, but we can hope…
