I think it would be a good idea to add a custom schedule. So that if a race falls on a holiday the race wont be run until later.

I thought this a good idea too until I realised that this is a world-wide game and there is probably a holiday, somewhere, on every day of the year.

yes but major holidays ie, christmas, easter, etc Or just allow league owners to select what they want

The only problem with totally custom schedules is they will really be hard to represent clearly on the league overview, or to make it easy for people to understand when they will be racing exactly. They may opt in to a league that says it races on days X Y and Z only to find it doesn\'t on a certain date.
