Hello audience of IGP MANAGER, I propose to rename the tires and make them like in real life, that is, rename the CC red tires to C, rename the software to M, and rename the medium to hard and, accordingly, the gap and rain tires remain unchanged, and remove the orange hard tires. .k they are no longer in F1, please, I think the guys will support my proposal and the developers will translate it into reality. Respectfully Danil!!!

As many people pointed out, iGP Manager isn't F1 game. So developers don't have to replicate every aspect of F1 and they are free to do whatever they want. And honestly, I like it that way, to be it's own thing. Also, bold letters and exclamation marks aren't necessary.

I would prefer swapping tyre names in this game but not to keep it solely in line with F1.

I would like something like

Super Softs being renamed to Sprint Tyre
Softs being renamed to the Option Tyre
Mediums being renamed to Race Tyre
Hards being renamed to Prime Tyre

This would be hard(mind the pun) to implement but also it would make things confusing and this isn’t f1 2021 or anything like that so it really wouldn’t be a much of a difference if the tire names stayed as they are currently plus the amount of annoyances with changing the compound names would be immense given that the devs are already chucking update after update(not to mention maintenance) besides it’s not really necessary since this is a management game and not a sim

If there'd be a change I'm rather with David, however few know those names and fewer could connect intuitively a compound to those names (as they are not meant to but reflect the suggestion from the tyre supplier).

To the original suggestion, removing Hards would be a mistake as 4 actually usable compounds would offer better choices for multiple strategies, even now they can be used for surprise strategies successfully but hard to pull off if not knowing exactly what to do and how the race will go. Also the current names and colours are from reality and, since again it seems to be sparked from F1, Formula 1 actually uses 5 major compounds and not 3. This is why commentators have to explain every time for the viewers liking to know the details that this race the Soft is the C5 and thus the Ultra Soft of the range, the Medium is the C4 Super Soft and the Hard with the C3 is the actual Soft compound, while last season Pirelli brought the the C4 Super Soft as Soft, the C3 Soft as Medium and the C2 Medium as Hard, which is absolutely stupid and not really easier at all except for those happy to just watch a race and not caring what actually happens and why.

‘If it ain’t broke don’t fix it’ comes to mind here.  What can be simpler than Super Soft, Soft, Medium, Hard?  Sometimes ppl need to think ‘how would my suggestion benefit the game?’

Also, David’s suggestions would just confuse newbies and make them think they should use Race tyres (Meds) all the time

Also, David’s suggestions would just confuse newbies and make them think they should use Race tyres (Meds) all the times 

I agree because even though I’ve got 4 wins(one in US Late League competition and the other three in aarava reddit racing league) I’m still not sure how to setup a race winning strategy lol and plus I’ve pretty much gotten used to seeing SS S M H as the compound and the respective names as well
