Why does the salary increase every time I extend the contract? Anyone know exactly why or how exactly the mechanic functions? Is it possible to benefit from this mechanic?

Every time you extend a contract it will be for more salary.  This is reason many level 20 drivers never sell in auction because salary is in excess of £1m.

There is a way of releasing a driver and immediately buying them back that keeps salary low, but not sure of right time to do it, otherwise it could massively increase.  Someone else might be able to help on this point

50 races is enough time to find another driver and train them up, and then replace the current driver. Otherwise if you wish to keep the current driver they become more experienced and 'demand' more money for the next contract, and every contract after.

This may weigh up better to keep the current driver rather than to spend the money on a new driver (and tokens) and have to train them, which is the only way the Experience stat will increase for the new driver, whereas the current driver's experience has already gone up. If you understand what i mean.

Simply put.. new younger driver with less experience and cheaper vs older more experienced driver who is a little more expensive with every contract renewal.

Ok that makes sense cuz I was wondering why or how I’m in debt?
