Why I am not getting any experience for my level from public races?

I raced on 4 or 5 public races to get exp to level up
What happened instead?
I got no exp

My friend still can get exp from public races, but he signed up using Email while I signed up with Facebook

Hello,
Quick Race XP is only given when the team completing the race is not in a league. If you are in a league and complete a QR, the only reward you get is the cash at the end of the race ($10,000*manager level).

Why do they make it take so long to get to Lvl20? It takes about a year to do. Unless I’m doing something wrong? 6 months to max out surely is long enough.
Any thoughts?

Hello,
Taking a year or more to maximise your in-game level is good because it ensures that the game remains interesting and progressive over a very long period of time.
An issue that many level 20 managers face is that they don't have any more headquarters to upgrade and therefore their biggest expenditures are their driver and staff wages.
If you got to this stage of extreme team financial security within weeks or months of playing the game, it is likely that some managers may decide to stop playing - whereas over a year, managers have time to discover the many little tips and tricks that can give them an advantage in a race, and they may also have had a chance to connect with other managers and lonk into the community

Ugh 2 years to Lvl30 😖😂
I get your point, but my instance I maxed out the purchase driver from lvl 5. So to see what works I need to compete at a higher lvl, at least it feels that way.
