More practise sessions (setup)

I think it would be a better idea to be able to do more laps, so you can discover how the track works with all tyres at different times. 
Let's say the race starts after 24h from now, so I do my setup now and finish my strategy, but after 10 hours, it starts raining, so I should do more laps with intermediate/wet tires to be fully prepared for the race. And I suggest to make an option which says spend 1 token to get 1 extra lap.

With the choice of spending more to get more, why not?

Isn’t it easier just to do your 5 practice laps in the hour before the actual race?  You will then be setting your strategy based on conditions as close to actual race conditions.  

There is no real value in doing this 24 hrs before a race, in fact it puts you at a big disadvantage come race time.  

Also most experienced managers will record all of their results in including tyre wear, temp, strategy etc so that each time they set up they have something to refer to (e.g. a spreadsheet, the notes section on your homepage or just simply in a notebook).

It is a game, not a job. For me at least.

Do your practice 5-10mins before the race qualifying, not 1hr, 12hrs, 24hrs, 144hrs before.

Firstly, practice sessions get closed 10mins before the race. Secondly, as I said above, it is a game for me(I am not available on the same time each day). If it is a job for you, then that's an other thing.

Are you sure you are not able to do this laps 5 minutes before the cutoff? Setup and strategy take usually no longer than 2-3 minutes
