Hello. I think that currently, manager profiles are a bit dull. They do give a good overview of the manager’s history, but I think it could use some additions to make them more interesting.

1: Show achievements publicly
Achievements don’t mean much to begin with, but having them displayed publicly would be incentive to try and earn them and it would be more redeeming when you unlock harder to get achievements. Bragging rights are always fun.

2: In-depth stats
The current display of stats is great when looking at a manager’s entire career, but it would be interesting to be able to view stats based on seasons or leagues they compete in. An example for this is the way Wikipedia displays driver’s racing records.
340x157
A similar UI could be implemented to allow a closer look at the league to league or season to season success of teams. I personally think it would be very interesting to see how teams perform on a broader scale like this. It could also display drivers that were signed for that season. If there were more than 2 drivers signed, it would show the driver who was contracted the longest throughout.

3: Display engine, tire and fuel suppliers
It’s no secret what suppliers people use, it can easily be seen on profiles on the car displays. Why not display it somewhere? If there are downsides to it, I am curious to hear.

This assumption is wrong.

1. What’s seen on the cars is what was being used AT the time the livery was created.
2. Downside is a competitor being able to determine a competitor’s strategy (to counter or copy) and imo for this game, less is more.

Yes I have noticed it doesn’t change unless your livery does, but who really goes out of their way to sandbag their suppliers? I did it with my sponsors because I didn’t want the same visual as every other car in the game, but I personally don’t think the suppliers give a dramatic advantage over any other until the later races in the season when every stat is maxed out. I think it would be interesting if they were displayed because you could anticipate and prepare for tracks your competitors will be stronger at, similar to real life how certain teams are expected to excel in particular tracks.

If you are using the same supplier all through the season, you are probably missing something.

Referring to the quoted text above, you should be anticipating and preparing all the time regardless of engines/suppliers of your opponents.

Now you just seem demeaning. I don’t think the casual players go out of their way to research their competition’s suppliers. Maybe you do, and maybe Elite managers who take it a little more seriously.  Changing something like an engine supplier multiple times a season sounds goofy, and maybe that’s something to be addressed in another thread.

Obviously you must anticipate and prepare regardless, it’s a strategy game. Thank you, Captain Obvious.

Good luck with your campaign.

1. Isn’t a good idea for the reasons already explained.

2. Is a good idea in theory, although probably impractical since over time it would take up an enormous amount of storage space.  I’ve seen something similar in other games and eventually it gets removed for these reasons
