Two things:-
1) variety is the spice of life and boredom will eventually set people running from this game.
This is both a personal opinion and my reasoning behind saying yes to this idea. Also, we already have half of Hokenheim in the game, the "modern layout" without, the forest section. In the spitit of things. I would ask for Nurburgring Nordschliefer..
This is very true, but I think a more important variety than just having more tracks is covering a greater portion of the globe. It probably sounds a little weird, but an increased spread of races would allow for more variety in race conditions (some time periods, have just all of Europe, West Asian and Brazil at night). To fix this ideally you'd have tracks added instead of just where people want tracks, but also to allow for more interesting/varied conditions over the course of a season. However a lot of ideal countries lack Grade 1 tracks, so one idea I might put out for this is looking at adding lower grade tracks (New Zealand could have Grade 2 Taupo or a NZ GP track), having duplicate country tracks moved (e.g. Brands Hatch place in Hawaii) or even a combination of both.
Extra tracks would also allow calendars to feel a bit more unique between seasons and/or leagues. Also makes the game more tactically interesting running races where you have a lot less information on them leads to much more interesting strategy (rather than, this is what worked last time).
While I still stick by my earlier statement about getting the racing balanced first, I certainly think this should just be kept in the back of people's minds.
