pole position point

Hello, soon we will have fast lap bonus point.

Why don't we also have the pole position point?

see in the image below one of the seasons of my league, in which the points are different from the iGP.
the pole position bonus made the difference and decided the championship!

Unlike the fast lap, the pole point would be permanent and any manager could earn the point. as long as he starts the grand prix in first place

Note: The score was 25 for 1st, 22 for 2nd, 20 for 3rd, 18 for 4th, 16 for 5th, the difference drops from 1st to 20th place. 15,14,13,12...



Bonus point: 1 fast lap purple, and 1 pole position Red.

if you want to leave your opinion about pole point, (positive or negative) it would be nice!

If we have a pole point system, I personally think that the player with the most developed car will automatically get on pole, as the game removes any kind of errors and surprises in quali, which is quite boring. Imagine in real life when Norris gets on pole in Russia, who will expect that?

hi, can you tell me if iGP Manager wants to be a faithful copy of Formula 1? from "real life"?

We already do the qualy and race fastest laps as separate championships. This developed as a host option to be awarded separately I'm down with though but i don't see the need for it to be included in main. 

I know it doesn’t want to be a copy of F1 or anything else, but it is just the nature of racing, which should have surprise and unexpected events happen

IGP isn’t an F1 simulation, it is a formula racing management game so no it doesn’t need to be a faithful copy of real life F1

no points for pole thanks, qualify already punishes small drivers, it would be a point fest for all the 188cm+ drivers

Pro:

Will encourage multiple strategies and bring the super softs more into play in leagues with no tyre rule.
Reward best ‘car development’.

Con:

Quali might be a bit skewed and reward the wrong person. While it’s largely dependent on development, those with taller drivers will have an advantage as well as horror days when the ?s decide to strike and rewards the wrong person with the pole position.


I voted no, not because i think it’s a bad idea but because I just want the game left alone for a bit!

This exactly! When quali is no longer effected by driver height, then maybe Pole Points would be fair, until then it would be an absolute farce.
