Block button: A feature needed

A block button feature will prevent things like these ? from escalating.

Please note I'm referring to private messages (especially unsolicited ones) and not the forum. Everyone is entitled to their opinion as long as it's within reason in a public space like the forum.

For the private messages, we should be able to choose not to receive repeated crazy talk.

The blacklist is also needed in leagues

Yes please. I have some obnoxious people I’d want to block. 

Yes that would be very useful indeed in banning repeat offenders/those that do not respect the rules and basically just create a toxic atmosphere within the league.


My only concern though is that we as humans tend to misuse power and this is especially true for league hosts that lack experience. These types of hosts could actually be the ones to make the game toxic for players if given such a feature.

I would modify your suggestion that mods be given the power to ban/blacklist managers from the leagues after proper investigations have been made. That would be fairer imo.

It should exist but don’t expect too much of this because (and that’s human nature as well) blacklisted or blocked managers will keep creating new accounts in order to keep trolling.


So yes to the principle but I think trolls will always find ways around it.

Blocking people won't stop them from just messaging someone else, your just moving the problem from one to another, better if people report them, then the mods can just disable the account. First offence say 24hrs, second 7 days, third is permanent ban.
To stop new accounts being made to PM, they must of taken part in a set number of races before being allowed to send a message.
