Hi racers,

Does higher wing level, as viewing at Monaco and Singapore, suggests allocate more downforce design points ?
Thanks in advance !

Related question: does going wing level one actually make you quicker down the straights or just slower you down overall, as it's far from the ideal set-up?

Ideal setup will be the fastest, regardless of practice times.

Not necesserally. I just experienced that both of my drivers went 15 hundreds of a sec. quicker with just 1 point down of ride  height from the ideal setup.

Ideal setup is what it says the ideal set up and will always be faster in the race.  Practice times include driver errors so will not give realistic times.  This point has been raised many times on the forum.

Hello,
A higher ride height suggests that the track may have more high speed corners, and therefore downforce could be more important, however this isn't written in any of the iGP Manager guides (pinned to the Help and Support Subforum).
However, some managers don't consider Downforce to be a very important attribute at any tracks (only really developing it at the end of the season), which could suggest that there isn't a need to allocate more DP.
The only way to know for sure is to compile and analyse your race data to see whether there is a correlation between higher ride height and the downforce you need.
