I have seen many a times that the lap times for not a perfect setup is faster in practice than when the car is perfectly setup . Is it worth attention that sometimes that might happen and should we go for that setup or by default we should go for the ideal Setup...
Practice times are very random. What your driver says is ideal, gives you the fastest laps in quali and in race.
There is also an element of driver error in practice times, but perfect setup is the most optimal setting for races regardless of what practice data might appear to suggest
