Hey everyone,
I've got a question and that is: Since when and why have I got ballast? I've never got ballast before and I'm curious why I've got it now.

Hello,

"Ballast is used in leagues to handicap teams which exceed the regulated performance for the tier (see 3.1 below for more on levels). In leagues, ballast is added as 1kg per level exceeding the tier level cap plus one additional kilogram. For example: a team that is 3 levels over the tier level cap would carry 4kg of ballast (3x1+1), a team that is 7 levels over would use 8kg (7x1+1) and so on."

The ballast-determining level caps are as follows:
Rookie - Level 7
Pro - Level 14
Elite - Level 20 (Ballast is not applied to any teams in Elite)

Connor, to anyone outside of Elite your answer might suggest that ballast is applied in Elite tier which it isn’t

Thank you for your feedback. I have edited my post to make it clearer that ballast is not applied in Elite.
