Hey, I'm the host for the Oppositelock league and race in the Elite tier. Tonight's Elite tier race for us at 1:30 am GMT in Spain went smooth for us except there was a strange glitch. As soon as the 2nd lap had begun, the race message board displayed that DRS was now allowed for the race. Then, several drivers began using DRS as soon as they crossed the DRS zone, which is right at the point of starting a new lap. However, this was with everybody starting the 2nd lap, rather than the 3rd lap. And not everybody within 1 second of the driver ahead got to use it! Only a select few. We have never experienced this issue before. I'll ask those who got to use DRS one lap early to post here. Thanks!

I have seen something similar with Kers several times. My Kers button shows Kers not charged but other drivers are using it. Drivers behind me.
Perhaps a clock sync issue. I am in the US

My driver was one of those that had DRS activate w lap early.

it's been a known bug for years, the devs know about it but it's really hard to fix

Ah, okay. It is not a huge issue it seems, as I hadn't been able to find anything in the forums about this. This will have to move up on the priority list if it ever gets more common!

In lot's of races in spain I have noticed drs not working when it looked like it should of been working.
Car behind was 0.5 behind at split time but by the time they got to drs zone and crossed the line they 1.0 behind & didn't have drs they must of missed it by 0.001 of a second :D
As for kers working early for some drivers I just put that down to the team having better percentage development of internals is why theirs charged sooner
