Ghosting in the pits

Today I was racing and on my first pit stop, a car runs out of fuel which makes half the train lose 2 seconds and use a lot of boost. Now I am thinking that maybe if a car runs out of fuel in the pits the other cars should just be able to ghost through that car to avoid this from happening. Let me know what you think about this
