What did you try to do?
Cleared cache

What happened instead?
When click to open it does the initial download bar and completes but then the screen just stays black afterwards instead of the usual loading race bar, started happening tonight, yesterday the race opened but the gameplay had totally changed from the days before and was awful but now it doesn’t open tonight.

It opened on Firefox but dots behaviour is just weird.
But chrome is my main browser so be handy if it at least loaded on there even if the game play is ruined.

Did the problem happen while using wi-fi, mobile data, or both?
Wi-fi

Did the bug happen in the app, on PC, or both?
PC

What operating system is your PC?
Windows 7

Which browser did you experience the problem in?
Chrome

Can the bug be reproduced?
?‍♂️

Additional comments:
Would love to go back to the web viewer from 3 days ago it worked well like it has for 10 years for me..

Hi, this appeared to fix itself by the following day it was working again and has worked since until earlier tonight, now Chrome doesn't load the race anymore just goes to black screen after initial download like i described above, just tested spectating also and still doesn't work. loads on Firefox again though.

A friend of mine was suffering from the same problem. When he checked the settings it seems that for reasons unknown, during the update his race viewer setting had been changed from "2D" (the settings he's used since 3D was launched) to "3D". I don't know why but for some reason this was preventing the race viewer from loading.

He changed it back to "2D" and everything started working again.

I don't know if this is the same as your problem but it can't do any harm to check.

Just tried that, it was already selected as 2d but changed it anyway and re-saved as 2d but still wont open in Chrome browser.

Still a no go.

------------------------------------------------------
a bit of info if it helps, after it started working again it was on the old original viewer cause the dot numbers text were back to original font/size and it was nice and smooth running none of the jerky strange behaviour of the cars/dots that the new viewer/app does, i guess you put the new one back online and chrome doesn't like it, it opens ok on firefox still (new viewer).

It's a longshot, but since Chromium browsers seem to be the major ones having problems with the livery editor and both race viewer and livery editor use Unity it might worth checking if this is applicable here:
Ghost
This bug is replicable in chromium browsers by having "hardware acceleration" disabled or if your device doesn't support it.

If this problem prevents you from updating the livery and you already have hardware acceleration enabled you can fix it by enabling "Override software rendering list" in chrome://flags or using another browser like firefox .

Ok just tried enabling "Override software rendering list" and didn't work still, i cleared cache afterwards also and still not open.

Interestingly i couldn't open the livery editor with or without that enabled/disabled either.

---------------
edit: Firefox doesn't load the livery editor either.

Hi William,

I had a similar issue with the livery editor (in my case, an old version of the loader was used, maybe another cache issue).

Could you try and open the livery editor and press F12 (with Firefox or Chrome) immediately. It should open a panel containing a « Console » tab.
Do you have any logs / error messages in the console ?
(You can also refresh the page to see if messages are printed at the very beginning of the loading process)
