Can you find a way to free drivers from inactive managers?

A way i see you could do this is:
When a manager hasnt been online for X days (50 i think it should be) you release the drivers from their contracts

I see many good drivers with managers that haven't been online for 100 days or more

Yes, nothing. There's lots of good drivers who are already contracted, indeed. There's also a lot in free agency who need only a bit of training to get to where they need to be.

I agree with Ben, there are drivers who haven't raced in like 300 days and it's clear that their team isn't racing. In fact this doesn't make sense at all as it's impossible to have drivers/staff contracted for more than the 17 races they're contracted for (unless contract extended) so all is needed is a period of time (14-21 days) after the contract is expired to give the team a chance to renew or let go of drivers. If nothing is done then they are released back onto the market

I disagree, if it was easy to find a ready trained high talent driver then where would be the challenge and sense of satisfaction?

While it may be frustrating to see all those race winning drivers 'locked out' every one of them at some point has been found and trained by another manager. There is no reason why someone else cannot do the same.

Yes it takes time and can be a pain when they aren't competetive but eventually they will get there and you have the satisfaction of knowing that it was down to you and not due to someone elses time and effort.

Well said. If anybody wants a developed driver so much that they want to hire drivers who are on inactive teams, you should make a B-team and train your own drivers. It's unethical, but nobody will be able to stop you from doing it.

Don't feel like a B-team would be unethical, especially not if it's present in a different league as the main team. It's an alternative for training in YDA with the possibility to focus on the fields you want to train.

Aside from that I did cross my mind sometimes that it's a bit odd to see good drivers just sitting there but on the other hand, a part of the managers also tend to return after a while and then they are back in action right away. So I wouldn't choose for releasing drivers after whatever period.

If more and more people start having to use 'B' teams to get good drivers then I feel this would seclude a lot of managers out there. Unless each account has a 'B' team setup already on the account (membership reward maybe?) then those who don't have/want to make a second account will ultimately lose out as high talent new drivers are snapped up by 'B' accounts and older higher talented drivers are locked into other active and non active managers accounts.

Not really as there will always be lvl20 talent drivers released to the market from the YDA's of many teams.

Personaly I kick them out of my YDA at 1% and hire them to the B team when needed. As long as that team has drivers being trained, other lvl20 drivers will be released to the market and the same goes for the B team itself as it also has the YDA.

It will generate more lvl20 talent drivers than it consumes. When hiring a 17 year old driver, he/she can do races over 30 when needed. Every 20 races a driver ages a year so when reaching the age of 30, that would be 260 races. In that time, it's very likely a YDA has generated multiple lvl20 talents. :)

Maybe it could be handled with a deeper contract system, where you could whoo said drivers over time :0
