I just wanted to suggest extending the contract signing time from 12 hours to 24 hours.

Over the last week I have made offers to potential staff and then gone away or gone to bed and forgotten to keep checking for a reply.
So by the time I\'ve woken up the next day or had time to check to see if they\'ve accepted, I find I have two messages. One saying yes and the other saying it\'s been enough time and they\'ve gone elsewhere.

It\'s pretty frustrating.

dissagree...thats kinda your own fault...

first thing you do, is sort your staff offers out...VERY FIRST....

then tweak your next race strat, training, design, partners (Mabey check teh forum) etc....by which stage, 15mins has passed, and your ready to sign...

sorry mate,.....just my opinion...

(also, teh purpose is to stop anyone preventing someone \'blocking\' a driver by offering a larger contract, and hanging on 24hrs, so it can be offered again...)

Well I haven\'t always got time to sit around and wait for a reply, whether is 15 minutes or not.

If I\'ve got the time to do a whole race on 2D then, yes, I could do it then but I get on here when I can, whether I\'m at work or at home. So as result it can be more than 12 hours before I can get on here again.

my provious point still stands....you could have for example...bidded 3 hours ago, and two hours later (as you have) returned to complete teh deal...

i would not like to see this change...

Yes but as I stated I can\'t always come back 3 hours later.

Today just happens to be an exception.

You have a reasonable point Nick.

Just because people are busy does not mean they do not want to play & be involved

There is a reason it\'s 12 hours. It is written in the rules:

4.2 Driver & Staff bidding
The 12 hour limit is enforced to prevent intentional blocking of offers from other managers - Since the minimum race time is every 24 hours this will leave at least 12 hours for other managers to bid in the event that the winning bidder doesn\'t respond

i agree with you, in principle....but still dont think 12hrs is unreasonable...

and actually....if you cannot commit more than 15 (or 16 if you want to be pedantic) mins a day, or even in a 12hr period, im not so sure you are that involved?

thats kind of like going to a football match to watch the first ten mins \'to be involved\'

I\'m involved as I can be. I love this game.

Not everyone can have the luxury of sitting around for hours on end playing video games.
